Story Of Our Three Students
Taneesha Fatema, present age 6 years : After her mother expired, her father married another woman. The Step Mother used to beat her every day, & it was effected the child to such an extent that she stopped talking completely, & just sat & stared with no expressions. She would miss her dead mother & cry at times. Then some distant relatives came to know about this & went & joined her in our madarasa in 2010.
Swaleha Fatema, present 16 years: Mother married out of the religion and gave birth to two children. Her father abandoned the kids and wife. Her mother used to work at hotels and go to church. She would keep changing religions for just a bag of rice to feed her kids. The kids would always wander on the streets. Finally the Local Moulana joined her in our madarasa in 2010. Now she was learning to read & write urdu and tailoring.
Sofiya Fatema, age 20 years: Her father and mother used to work in quarry mines. Few years back her mother expired. Sofiya Fatema also used to work in quarry. She used to struggle very hard for her lively hood. Her hands became sore from cutting the boulders, or the buildings, & would cry at nights due to the burn from the bleeding hands. Then the villagers advised and convinced her father to join her in this madarasa. Now she is able to read, write and is learning how to stich.
